Greetings! While new to professional photography, I’ve been shooting with various equipment for fun for the past 8 years or so. I switched from 35mm to digital with the release of Canon’s 20D. At the time switching from a Nikon N80. Being an “IT Guy”, the transition to digital was easy, and was very rewarding to my sense of control over a photo. I migrated from the 20D to Canon’s 40D, and then to the 7D just recently, and have been quite happy with the improvements in low-light captures. I was tempted to go full frame with the 5D mark II, but couldn’t justify the cost, given this is mostly a hobby today.
